The Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce, with LCDC partnership funding, is constructing a two story office / visitor center building in downtown Coeur d'Alene across the street from Independence Point. In December, 2005, LCDC entered into an owner participation agreement with Chamber of Commerce leadership to aid with the establishment of project-related public improvements including: building demolition, site remediation, public rest rooms, and sewer line relocation.
